History of the Workshop:
The India-Korea Joint Workshop has been supported by both DST of India and MEST of Korea based on the MOU for S&T collaboration between the two governments, and this workshop will be held two times per year for the next 5 years. The 1st India-Korea Joint Workshop was held in Seoul, May, 2011, and the 2nd India-Korea Joint Workshop will be held in Chennai, November, 2011, and the 3rd one shall be held again in Seoul, August, 2012. The 1st Indo-Korea Forum was held as a satellite meeting of IEEE Nano 2010 on August in Seoul, August 2010, and this Indo-Korea Forum has been merged to India-Korea Joint Workshop, so that both DST of India and MEST of Korea will support this India-Korea Joint Workshop as an official S&T meeting. The theme of each workshop shall be decided by the organizing committee. The workshop "Nanotechnology Conclave" has been organized together with the Confederation of Indian Industry this year. Thus the 2nd India-Korea Joint Workshop at Chennai will cover both "Chemistry and Nanomaterials" and "Nanotechnology Conclave".
